Small intestinal mass with regional free fluid. Lymphomatosis type presentation.
FNA were performed without complication.
Exploratory surgery with aggressive resection, anastamosis and adjunctive chemotherapy would be the best option in this patient if the owner decides to progress with therapy.
A 5+ cm mid small intestinal mass was noted with regional inflammation and free fluid. FNA were performed without complications. This is strongly suggestive for lymphoma or FIP. Regional inflammation was noted associated with paraneoplastic reactive fat or peritonitis. The mass may be resectable. However, given the free fluid lymphatic obstruction is suspected. This appears to occupy 10-14 cm of intestines with ill defined margins.
