Likely gastrointestinal lymphoma with regional lymphadenopathy. Other forms of neoplasia such as mast cell disease would be possible as well as dry form FIP and severe inflammatory bowel disease is possible. Fine-needle aspirates were performed.
The stomach presented an infiltrative pattern that measured 1.5 cm. There was loss of gastric detail. This is a concentric pattern. Regional epigastric lymphadenopathy was also noted. The remainder of the intestinal tract was also thickened with some areas of loss of detail and thickened muscularis. The surrounding omentum was reactive. This is most consistent with infiltrative gastrointestinal disease such as lymphoma, mast cell disease or severe inflammatory bowel disease. 25-gauge fine-needle aspirates were performed of the gastric wall and submitted for cytology review.
