Sonographic Differential Diagnosis
Multiple hepatic target lesions. This is consistent with multi focal neoplasia. Otherwise, normal abdomen.
Image Interpretation
The liver was riddled with multiple, hypoechoic target type lesions. The hypoechoic peripheral rim with the center being hyperechoic is a classic presentation for target type appearance. This is strongly suggestive for neoplasia such as round cell neoplasia. No primary neoplasia was noted. Fine-needle aspirates were performed without evident sequelae. These lesions are not resectable. The gallbladder was unremarkable.

Sampling
FNA revealed findings consistent with malignant epithelial tumor.
