An 8-year-old FS DSH was presented for anorexia and weight loss. Physical exam revealed pale mucous membranes and an unkempt appearance. Hyperglycemia was present on the blood chemistry profile at 162. The CBC showed a mild leukopenia (WBC 4.97), and neutropenia, as well as a decrease of the hemoglobin at 4.3 and hematocrit at 12.3.
