A female Columbian red-tailed boa was presented for vomiting and 10 months of anorexia and weight loss.

October 7, 2016

A 10-year-old, FS, DSH cat was presented for assessment of murmur and anesthetic risk prior to dental prophylaxis. An exam 1-month prior revealed a grade III/VI murmur. NT-proBNP was >1500pmol/L. The patient was on no medications at the time of ultrasound. CBC/Chem/UA were all WNL. Radiographs showed cardiomegaly.

September 28, 2016

A 12-year-old MN Labrador Retriever mix was presented with chronic diarrhea +/- syncopal episodes.Low grade anemia was found on CBC with unremarkable blood chemistry findings.

The patient was presented for heavy breathing, panting, excessive throat clearing, weight loss. Altered CBC/Chem/UA values: BW-NSF. Radiograph Findings: chest rads-NSF.

A 2-year-old FS Beagle mixed breed. Clinical findings: 2 chest nodules. Fever of unknown origin. Vomiting/diarrhea. Altered CBC/Chem/UA values: WBC 20,000. TP 8.3. BUN subnormal at 5. Globulins sl. Elevated. Coag-wnl. HWT-neg.

An 8-year-old, F/S, 77 lb, Pitbull terrier was presented at RDVM for decreased activity level and behavioral changes. Blood work was performed and showed an increase in ALKP. This 11-year-old MN DSH cat vomited all of his food 3 days ago. Owner noticed grass-eating and some vomiting of grass last week. Normal activity and appetite. Currently on Cerenia and SQ fluids. R/O FB vs pancreatitis vs other.

March 21, 2016

The patient was presented for straining to defecate x 5 days, a poor appetite, recent vomiting, and possible hematuria. During physical exam a recal stricture was palpated. Blood was noted in the vulva. The patient was treated with Baytril, Cerenia, and IV fluids pending sonographic evaluation.

The patient was presented for intermittent lameness of the left hind for a duration of 1.5 years. Recently the right hind limb is painful, the patient seems more lethargic and does not get up much. The patient was present for “ADR”, back pain, pollakiuria and dysuria, and dark urine. Treatments included IVF, Ampicillin, and Baytril without clincial response. Urine specific gravity was 1.034, pH 7, 1+ protein. Bloodwork was unremarkable.
