Abnormal Pancreas

– 12 year FS AffenpinscherX with history of increasing liver enzymes and liver mass

– FNA of liver mass a few months ago was non-diagnostic

– also has had suspected pancreatitis in the past diagnosed with elevated cPLI

– now losing weight, vomitng, anorexia

– on ultrasound, the liver is diffusely affected with cystic lesions, areas of mixed echogencity and an interestng complex mass in the left medial liver lobe region

– there is hepatic LN enlargement

– the right pancreatic limb is enlarged to me and the pancreatic duct (I think) is deviated; mild hyperechoic surrounding fat

Does this look like chronic pancreatitis, neoplasia?

That liver mass looks

That liver mass looks neoplastic and will need core bx.. fna on these doesnt work well unless you stick the exact spot transiitoning normal to abnormal and keeping the site parenchymal and not cystic. Looks resectable if localized to that lobe. The pancreas looks  a little subacute on chronic with the ill defined fat on the last clip and areas of remodeling/coarse architecture. Core bx both of them would be my option.
