An 11-year-old SF Weimaraner dog was presented for evaluation of diarrhea, weight loss and lethargy. Abnormalities on serum biochemistry were elevated globulins and elevated liver enzyme activity. An abdominal mass was evident on survey radiographs.

Sonographic Differential Diagnosis

Splenic mass with IBD gastrointestinal pattern. Areas of minor, splenic rupture.

Outcome

The patient was euthanized.
