10 weeks old Mini Poodle (4#) presented for acute vomiting, circling, ataxia and a full seizure today.
Owner got Patient 2 weeks ago. No known exposure to toxins.
Patient recovered fully by the time I arrived to scan her. We distracted her with a spoon of i/d for the scan, and 15 min post meal/post scan, she had head tremors and ataxia.
Bile acids and resting cortisol pending.
Normal HCT (38), low MCV (60.4)
Normal Glu (136), Alb (3.1)
Low normal BUN (9)
Low K (3.4)
Normal bladder and kidneys (3.6cm). Normal size liver. Small adrenals, but well seen.
PV/CVC/AO looks normal, but there is an area near the duodenum where the CVC seems to have a turbulent flow. What do you think?
Rec lactulose, metro, small meals with cottage cheese.
Thanks for your input!
