-young cat with severe hemorrhagic diarrhea
-febrile
-vomited twice
-CBC shows hemoconcentration and mild neutropenia and lymphopenia.
-Panel normal exept low ALP (8), stress hyperglycemia, hypophosphatemia, and low K and Na.
-Developed a systolic heart murmur today that has not been heard before.
These images were taken unshaved so are not of the best quality; I did not get any of the heart today.

I am attaching several images of his colon. The one with the measurement on it is not measured quite right since it likely includes some surrounding inflammation but it was the best still of that site. The colic lymph nodes were prominent and maybe slightly rounded but still measured ~0.76 cm. Otherwise all looked good.
Differentials for severe colitis, fever, and new heart murmur in a young cat? Thanks.

I should add that I did get a
I should add that I did get a swab from the rectum/descending colon. I saw what I assume are fairly normal-appearing colonic mucosal cells and debris/bacteria. No inflammatory cells, no obvious infectious agents (eg histoplasmosis).
Also, rads of his chest appeared normal on the day of presentation.
Clinically cat is improving with supportive care but still hasn’t eaten. Does toxo ever do this?
