Repeat offender Foreign Body suspect

A 5-year-old FS French bulldog
Acute projectile vomiting x 12-14hrs 6 episodes of vomiting over the course of an hour. One episode several hours later.
U/S at 11pm vs. U/S 12 hours later.
Snow globe effect on stomach on first ultrasound.
No further vomiting 12 hours later, but not being offered food. Drinking water normally with no vomiting/drooling.
Patient very BAR.

Give another 12-24 hrs or cut on the dotted line? Patient had foreign body coin ingestion and sx to remove it 4 years prior.

Thx.

Cool upload and pretty decent

Cool upload and pretty decent image quality for using a pile of devices Ms Gadget!:)

Looks like just delayed outflow on this guy and a little mucosal echogenic remodeling hypertrophy. Try moving to canned i/d or hydrolyzed diet bid and see how it goes. The SI is empty so its all owned by the pylorus.  Happy New Year no Fb sx or scope:)

Awesome thx for reviewing. I

Awesome thx for reviewing. I was anticipating watching an IV drip for the New Year! I have seen the “snow globe” effect on some of the FB videos in the clinical/pathology search engine  and a rather volcanic pylorus during one of your training boot camp sessions; that one turned out to be a corn cob obstruction in a Rottie.  I was definitely concerned of blockage, even partial. Thank you. 🙂
