Hi all, I got a 10yo FS Pom x with lethargy and inappetance and V+ (similar episode 2 years ago). Abdo rads revealed microhepatia. On the scan the liver lobes were thin and subnormal in size, except the caudal lobe which preserved normal echogenicity and architecture (possibly enlarged). PV, CVC unremarkable. (I can post photos if needed)
My question is which pathologies can give you this in some liver lobes instead of generalised? I thought on parasites however i dont think it happens on this area.

We are doing liver biopsy and bile acids, anything else?
Any comments or similar experiences will be appreciated.

Not seen/come across regional
Not seen/come across regional micohepatica. Possiblity that this dog has had congenital disease all its life and that the one functional lobe has been sufficient to maintain homeostasis. Other etiologies would be trauma and regional vascular problems. Do you have CBC and biochem on this case, as this would also give information on the liver.
