- 12 YO ME Labrador, presented weak/collapsed and hypothermic, acute onset, bloods fairly normal
- Ascites (serous/yellow on aspiration), nodular liver, thickened GB wall, thickened stomach wall with hypertrophied muscularis layer, heterogenous pancreas with area of hypoechogenicity…..I don’t think this is a LN and not sure about a mass lesion, there is some steatitis surrounding it…what do you think?
- Fluid sent for analysis. Aspiration declined initially. Is this inflammatory/infectious or possible neoplasia?

Yes that is an enlarged
Yes that is an enlarged hepatic LN and there are hepatic nodules. Both need FNA. Sonographically im concerned for lsa or similar but doesnt explain the acute episode. The edematous GB can be related to anaphylaxis or acute hepatitis form some insult… infectious or toxic.
