- Would you classify this as myxomatous mitral valve disease or mitral dysplasia?

due to the age and

due to the age and valvular changes (hyperechoic tips, slighty kinked edges in diastole) this has to be classified as dysplasia. Some of these live quite long, but in this case I would think that the long-term prognosis in Guarded since theres quite a lot of regurgitarion.
i woud recommend a recheck in 6 months. Surgical repair can be considered once volume overload is present.
