Gestational Age = (3.75 x 7 + 29= 55 days) or ( 4 x 7 + 29= 57 days)
Days Before Parturition= 65-55= 10 days or 65-57= 8 days
So due date would be 8-10 days from the time of this ultrasound.

10 days after this sonogram was done. So, cigars to all of us for getting the correct date, especially to EL who did not even give a range!
My reasoning was based on the following:
Fetal measurements showed the body diameter (BD)at the level of the stomach to be 3.1cm giving an estimated gestational age of 51 days (GA=(7x BD) + 29).1 The head diameter (HD) obtained in transverse views was 2.5cm giving an estimated gestational age of 54 days (GA=(6 x HD)+(3 x BD) +30). This gave an estimated count of 10 to 15 days until parturition (canine gestational period=65 days +/-1 day).
