Ileocecocolic Junction Foreign Body in a 6 month old MI mixed breed dog

This 6-month-old MI mixed breed dog presented for acute vomiting and poor appetite but otherwise normal. The physical exam was relatively unremarkable except for excessive gastrointestinal activity, borborygmus and moderate hyperthermia.

Granular Lymphoma in a 9 year old DSH cat

This 9-year-old DSH cat presented for vomiting, weight loss, lethargy and anorexia. Physical examination revealed intestinal thickening, moderate hyperthermia and a poor body state. The blood analysis demonstrated mild anemia, moderate leukocytosis with a left shift and band cells. Mild hypoalbuminemia and moderately low T4 was also evident.

Pyogranulomatous cholangiohepatitis, extramedullary hematopoiesis in a 4 year old FS Pomeranian dog

A 4-year-old FS Pomeranian presented for diarrhea and weight loss. Physical examination revealed low body condition score and a mild fever that was non-responsive to antibiotics over the previous 72 hours. CBC showed a severe and highly regenerative anemia with schistocytosis. The blood chemistry analysis was normal.

Lymphoblastic lymphoma in a 7 year old MN DSH cat

A 7-year-old MN DSH cat was presented for weight loss and poor appetite. Physical examination revealed persistent hyperthermia after a prior treatment of antibiotics. Moderate neutrophilia with a left shift and mild hyperglycemia were the only abnormalities found in the CBC and blood chemistry panel.
