Older cat, recent new heart murmur. Asymptomatic, was done for pre-anesthetic purposes. -I think the LVOT is turbulent but I was not able to document SAM on m-mode.  Do you see SAM? -In a case that is thick, but has normal LA:Ao and SAM, do you start on something like atenolol?  HR was about 225…

-Mature adult female spayed Corgi -presents for evaluation of vomiting/weight loss -Study unremarkable except for some changes in pancreas (will attach clip) and the area I am questioning.  Not typically what I think of as acute pancreatitis, maybe resolving or chronic? -Area in question is in right caudal abdomen lateral to bladder/colon.  Looks like fat…

For mobile sonographers, who do you use for insurance?  I am talking about for the machine/equipment itself, if it gets dropped, damaged during the course of use, stolen out of the vehicle, damaged in a vehicle accident, etc. I am currently insured through Allstate but have serious doubts about whether they would truly cover it…

-Senior chihuahua -Harsh lung sounds, if murmur present, is very low grade. -Recent history of respiratory difficulties, including a bout with (presumed) bacterial pneumonia (elevated WBCs, interstitial lung pattern).  Several episodes responded to oxygen, short-acting steroids, single injection lasix when pneumonia not suspected. -Recent rad review suggests possible pulmonary hypertension
