Cranial Thoracic Opacity

Cause of Pericardial Effusion
Jackson: 9 Year Old, M/N GoldenDoodle presented for weakness and ADR, Lung sounds muffles U/S: large PCE (Drained 550ml’s bloody fluid); I do not see an obvious cardiac mass….There is a hypoechoic splenic mass that loses architecture. No abdominal fluid was evident.

Patient is a 6 year old lab cross, spayed 1 year ago w/out complictions, Presents w/ small amount of bloody vaginal discharge….Vaginal cytology is just RBC’s and normal, non-cornified epi’s. UA is normal. Vaginal exam finds normal vault but glove is covered w/ darker tingued blood.
