I see reasonably normal shape and size kidneys with cortical striations and a pronounced medullary rim sign. Can you tell whether this is more likely congenital vs. toxic/infectious from these images? They don’t look like the renal dyplasia cases I’ve seen previously but I know they can vary in appearance some.

yes images are a bit dark but
yes images are a bit dark but the cortices are a bit thick and hypoechoic wiht a medulalry rim sign. This would siugegest toxic or infectious. Renal dysplasia can look like anythign but not a typical one I agree. Check food toxin as well as infectious.
