Try these settings on your Elite 8 please

We are constantly working with settings on our own Elite 8s as well as monitoring the imaging that comes over from all of you. We want the imaging to be as optimal as possible across the board for all of us.

We would like you to try the following as it seems to improve imaging overall with fewer adjustments needed during the scan

do all dogs on small abdomen and change the following:

1. set ICLear to 4

– this is one of the soft keys on the right. Press the right arrow on the Switch Menu display mode until Iclear appears

2. Set IBeam to 1

2. Set IBeam to 1

– also one of the soft keys on the right. Use the button below the Switch Menu (the soft menu page down button) and select until you see IBeam

3. Set frequency initially at HRes (it should say H7 in the column on the display screen on the far right) Then adjust it down during the scan as needed to lower the frequency and optimize the image.

4. Push P5 on the top row of keyboard, then push SAVE in the top box that pops up. This will save the preset.

Let us know how this works for you!

Thank you for the

Thank you for the suggestions!  I’m trying them now…. question…. when I set it to HRes, it shows H9 in the far right column.  Is that what I want?

HPen gives me a H7 in the far right column.

Thanks!

Yes sorry Karen – start with

Yes sorry Karen – start with HPen. However after trying this setting exxtensively I see that sometimes this setting is too bright for me especially on cats. So I judge each scan and lower the frequency to Hres if needed.  But I always start with the H7
