Hello
I was just hoping for an opinion on this stomach. It is a 10 year old large breed dog that has been vomiting. The 2 clips that I posted are in a standing position.
The stomach is vitually empty but appears to be prominent. I was wondering about the hypoechoic mucosa on the sagital image and there is a hyperechoic circular area on the transverse clip that I think is stomach folds or digesta but was hoping for another opinion.
Thanks. Brent

Very thick gastric wall and
Very thick gastric wall and periserosal ill defined fat which is a flag to mean needs sampling. Muscularis is hypertrophied and the submucosa is thick, mucosal echogenic remodeling which suggests acute on chronic gastritis but I have seen these come up carcinoma as well. Either bad gastritis or possible carcinoma. i would full thickness if possible as scope may not tell the whole story.
Thanks for the quick reply.
