Dr Ondreka,
I have thought about having you read our x-rays. We currently use IDEXX and for the most part I have been happy. I have OSIRIX software and we upload the DICOM images directed to their server. Do I have a way of doing this through Sonopath?
Is the cost the same for reading x-rays as for an ultrasound or Echo?

Here is our price list Randy
Here is our price list Randy (attached). We pefer you just drag and drop onto the sonopath upload icon on th ehome page or use this link (http://www.sonopath.com/spa). Because you have to be there anyway on your aquisition station to fill out the history anyway and rad files are small. So if you export the rads to desktop in dicom from your osirix on your acquisition station where you also have sonopath open in firefox or chrome (NOT EXPLORER), the export process is 2 clicks on osirix (see attached image) or similar if using efilm, vetpacs, or any other dicom viewer. Then drag into the upload box on sonopath telemed upload and they go fast. Most my telerad clients perfer this as its actually faster and the tech can check the upload directly thorugh sonopath. We can do a dicom send to our IP address as well if needed but you still have to fill out the form on sonopath. We adapt to you. if you need more info than this then email us at info@sonopath.com.
re billing my dept just bills you monthly after you send…. we work on the honor system:)
We do Educational Telemed (trademark pending) on all our reports whether US, RAD, CT which sets us apart form the rest. You will learn while you see the interpretation. (see example attached)
I never thought the forum to be a marketing avenue but since you asked Randy…. 🙂
Thanks EL. Do we send them as
Thanks EL. Do we send them as .JPG?
no, oif you have to then we
no, oif you have to then we can read in jpeg but dicom is always better because we can manipulate the images to compensate for any exposure irregularities or adjust to enhance the interpretation. Just export as dicom and drag and drop.
