I have a 10 year old Bichon with most likely pulmonary neoplasia. Generalized nodular change. I know that primary pulmonary masses are possible- but I was wondering where the most comon sites in the abdomen are located that metastasize to the lungs? I am doing an abdominal ultrasound tomorrow and I was asking for a heads up. Of course I will try to do a complete exam. Any information would be helpful.

Off the top of my head
Off the top of my head primary sites i see in the lungs most are pancreatic neoplasia, adrenal neoplasia, splenic HSA but thats usually crash and burn tempestive lung lesions, LSA usually goes to the t-duct and cranial mediastinum less so to the lungs, anal gland carcinoma going to iliac ln then lungs, an doccacionally prostatic carcinoma. Hepcell carcinoma sometimes but they are usually local expansive problems.
