I would like your opinions.
Carl is a 11 1/2 year old DSH with a history of chronic vomiting/diarrhea and weight loss.
I recently did labs and they were normal except for an elevation of his Amylase and Lipase. A bit unusual in the cat. SPECfPL not done. He also had a grossly elevated Calcium.
I suspect lymphoma.
Today I scanned him and found this large mass and cystic area in the region of the L horn of the pancreas.
I am posting 1 still and 2 cine’s.
My questions:
1. Is this mass actually pancreas?

I have FNA pending.

Comments
yes very suspect for panc
yes very suspect for panc carcinoma, 25 g in the parenchymal part should diff it from pronounced nodular hyperplasia or pancreatitis/necriosis but solid blood flow so less likely having necrosius as the main part.
Here’s a similar case from the search with the fluid component that can occur.
