One way to customize your measurement annotations on the M8

Customize your measurement annotations on the M8

So when you are doing an echo and see the full list of measurements on the left, and you only use a few, you have to move around a bit to choose yours. Or you see one is missing. Here’s how to make sure you have the list you want and in the order you want.

For example, let’s say AR Vmax is missing from your list:

Attach SP5 probe

setup

choose measure preset from column on left

measure package CAR should indicated

select Doppler

Look at column on left and drop down to AR Vmax

highlight

highlight single right arrow on center – will put AT Vmax in the right column which represents  the list of your choices

Save at bottom

Do this for every measurement you need to have; can also select M instead of Doppler to work with the available list of M mode measurements.

Then from this measure preset you can also put your favorite measurements at the top of the list:

Highlight from the right column

click “move up” to put it where you want

Save at bottom

You need to do this with each probe attached in order to have that particular measurement appear in that library

Play around with what you machine can do here for customization; you can do the same with abdomen.

I like this!  I just did on my machine for Comments (Abdomen).  I like being able to remove the ones I don’t use, so the list is shorter.  Or just tuck those farther down the list.  🙂
