  • I understand that cytology/biopsy needed for definitive diagnosis but declined in these cases
  • How would you describe and would you predict inflammation/regeneration or neoplasia in these cases?
  • Video 1 is 11 yo Shih Tzu with weight loss and midlly elevated liver enzymes
  • Video 2/3 is 12 year old Tibetan Terrier with significantly elevated liver enzymes on pre-anaesthetic bloods (for ortho dz)

1) Vacuolar hepatopathy wiht

1) Vacuolar hepatopathy wiht non disruptive nodules likely hyperplasia

2/3) Expansive disruptive mass likely carcinoma with diffuse coalescing nodular changes elsewhere. consider hepatocutaneous syndrome aside from the mass

4) mild chronic hepatic remodeling with non disruptive lipid plaques or nodular hyperplasia.

5) GB stones and diffuse moderately disruptive nodular changes.

all need a needle but the mass in 2 and nodules in 5 definately need sampling.
