Guinea pig Liver and PV

HI,

sO  this is FATTY again, I just wanted to show a bit more of the liver and PV. In case it helps. Liver appears to hav emultiple hyperechoic focci. My differentials for that is fibrotic focci, mineralized focci. IS neoplastic infiltration a differential in that way? It looks unlikely to me. Anyway, thank you for any input.

I do try my best to do the 17 point SDEP protocol. but with rabbits and guineapigs I find myself at the mercy of the guts or the patient if not sedated( in this case, Fatty was not sedated).

Thanks again for your help.

These look like lobar biliary

These look like lobar biliary stones… see how they are lined up in the biliary ducts? I dont know the guinea pig dose of actigall but thats what i would do with an antibiotic. if neoplasia there would be a disorganized mineralization and this is linear mineralization within the ducts and no reverberation like gas does.

Thank you, EL.
Apparently mr Plumbs advices ursofalk is contraindicated in rabbits, guinea pigs and rodents, due to toxicity of one of the metabolites it’s broken into.
Thanks.

But… Do you think this can
But… Do you think this can be related at all to the free fluid and the CVC dilation?
I happened to know I will see this patient again Monday, probably, and I will try and tap some fluid.
I still believe the right adrenal is to blame but let’s see what I find.
Thanks so much for your help.
