I did a gall bladder motility study. I am interested in the ef at 15 /30 mins that are being obtained. I am following the data from the 2012 report of 60 120 mins . interested in difference. sorry rushing earlier ,not clear on my request.
We are gathering th einfo that we can but from my experience in the 15/30 protocol in normal dogs there is a change in size and contour wihtin 30 min but in confirmed mucoceles on surgery there is no movement and the Gb stays the same… how much change is tough to say but if it looks like a mucocele at 0 and is non mobile re bile and contour and size at 30 to me its a dysfunctional Gb and needs to come out. Using this reasoning I have not had a surgeon say it wasnt a mucocele. … very dirty medicine at this point I know til we gather enough info and cases for a proper study. Its just tough to get people to do them in a mobile environment. Fixed facility would be better to collect cases.
