brachycephalic skull conformation with generalized stenosis of the upper airways. Mild signs of otitis media and external

Image Interpretation

The right and left bulla present mild irregular thickening of the mucosal lining with no
obvious changes of the bulla wall. A small amount of soft tissue attenuating, nonenhancing
material is seen within the medial aspect of both ear canals. The general
conformation of the ear canals is narrow. The general conformation of the pharynx is narrow, there is a mild generalized
laryngeal swelling. The tracheal lumen contains a mild amount of fluid, which adheres
to the wall. The lumen of the trachea is slightly undulating with a mild degree of
redundancy of the tracheal membrane. Assessment for tracheal collapse is limited due
to the presence of an endotracheal tube.

Outcome

There is no evidence of rhinitis or obstructive lesions along the upper airways.Functional endoscopic assessment of the laryngeal apparatus may be considered as
indicated based on the clinical findings. Otoscopic workup is recommended.
