Sonographic Differential Diagnosis

The changes seen in the testicles are strongly suggestive of relatively aggressive appearing neoplasia. Bilateral orchiectomy and prostatic wash would be warranted with biopsies of the right testicle.

Image Interpretation

The prostate was remodeled and mildly prominent in this patient. There was no evidence of cysts or masses. Bilateral cryptorchid testes were noted in the inguinal canal. The left measured 2.8 cm with a mineralized epididymis. The right testicle revealed a mass that measured 2.6 cm. The entire right testicle measured 3.3 cm.
