03_00509 Jojo R GB Mucocele

A 10-year-old NM Chihuahua with a history of seizures for the past 6 months was presented for evaluation of polydipsia. Distended abdomen was present on physical examination. Urine specific gravity was 1.006 and CBC within reference range. Abnormalities on serum biochemistry were elevated ALT (375) and ALP (400) activity.

Sonographic Differential Diagnosis

Gallbladder mucocele with minor adhesion pattern.
Cholecystectomy is recommended.
