An 11-year-old FS DSH cat was presented for poor appetite, hyperthyroidism, and previous episode of hypertension. The patient perked up a bit after receiving SQ fluids, Cerenia, and mirtazapine. CBC was WNL, blood chemistry found phosphorous 2.7, Na 156, K 2.6, bicarb 27, CK 441, Total T-4 7.3, USG 1.021.

Patient presented for newly diagnosed grade 2/6 heart murmur, sudden weight loss, and newly diagnosed hypothyroidism. Previous history of random vocalization- unsure if from anxiety or discomfort.

February 18, 2020

The patient presented for pre-anesthetic work up for a TPLO surgery and it was noted that the patient’s abdomen appeared larger than normal. Radiographs of the abdomen were inconclusive and an ultrasound was performed.

December 31, 2019

The patient was presented for drainage tract between the 2nd and 3rd digits in the front left foot. Previous probing for the grass awn was unsuccessful; an ultrasound was performed to aid in the process of pinpointing the location of the grass awn and image the surrounding tissues.

November 14, 2019

The patient was presented for vomiting, lethargy, and painful cranial abdomen. Blood chemistry revealed BUN 5, glob. 4.7, ALT >1000, Alk.Phos. 1342, GGT 25, and T. bili 2.8. A STAT ultrasound was ordered and performed by ASNW with interpretation done by SonoPath.

October 31, 2019

History: Presented to the ER for difficulty breathing. History of a collapsing trachea and chronic cough. Radiographs showed cardiomegaly with questionable pulmonary changes. Placed in oxygen and treated for CHF (lasix, pimobendan, hydrcodone) but did not do well.

September 5, 2019

The patient was presented for painful abdomen, pyrexia, vomiting, and anorexia. After 12 hours on IVF and supportive care the patient’s pyrexia resolved and there was no further vomiting.
