bleeding from mouth

This is a 15 yr old 12 lb mixed pup. He has several chronic issue but he presented to my associate thursday for bleeding from the mouth. He has periodontal disease but no bleeding could be found. He had normal cbc, clot time and some liver elevations which are typical. He bled again sat and today all frank blood ,clots present no cough no retching just flows out of mouth.after todays bleed vomited clotted blood pcv  dropped abit to 39%. behaving normally in between episodes . hasn’t eaten anything that should cause it. We suspect a mass somewhere. Oral exam showed no mass.

We suspect a mass somewhere. Oral exam showed no mass. we have not anesthetized yet to look. I scanned the region of the neck. The laryngeal region. i have sent video of the region just caudal to the larynx I think i’m seeing an irregular structure from the mucosal surface of what i believe may be esophagus. I need a second opinion ? Also the lymph node was abnormal in comparison to others in region. Thanks

I have had two cases of dogs

I have had two cases of dogs with quite profuse bleeding from the mouth due to a laceration under the tongue. I had to anesthetize them to actually see it. Placed a simple continuous suture and both healed nicely. In both cases, the owners had no idea what may have caused the laceration.

I’m going to have to do that

I’m going to have to do that I was hoping to avoid it, he seizures has 4/6 murmur, chronic hepatitis just to start.Yup good times -good times. I”ll post if I can find something. Thanks
