– 7 year old FS Australian Cattle dog (same as last liver post but different problem)
– being worked up for elevated liver enzymes – was spayed several years ago
– owner in passing mentions that pet has been having what looks like heat cycles every 6 months for quite a while but has not seen in the last year
– prominent uterine stump seen on ultrasound
– there appears to be an “ovary” caudal to the right kidney (there is also a small cyst in the renal cortex)
Is this evidence for an ovarian remnant?

Nice u-stump surely too thick for not getting solicited by estrogen.
That looks like o remnant as well in the video right where it should be. I would remove the remnant and take the u-stump down to the cervix to avoid an eventual stump pyo.
Ive attached a similar o remnant that was sx removed.
