17 year old Beagle w/ urinary accidents/incontinence. No straining.
Bloodwork wnl
UA mild uti
Looks to me like TCC in the area of the ureteral papillas and I think possibly a dilated ureter dorsal to the bladder.
Trying to talk owner into full scan as this was just to grab a cysto ua
Is it possible that this is anything other than a TCC…I’m assuming no straining as the cuj and urethra are clear at present.
Thanks,
Sam

TCC most likley but focal
TCC most likley but focal granuloma also possible, both of which can cause obstruction of the ureter as seen here. May need catheter-assisted biopsy for a diagnosis.

Kind of what I thought…this is a receptionists dog. I don’t think she’s going to get aggressive with this considering the age, but the dog is happy and not effected yet. Maybe we’ll start some piroxicam and try to slow it down…My guess is the kidneys will become an issue before the bladder does.
