– 8 year old MN diabetic Minature Schnauzer with intermittent vomiting and weight loss; good appetite
– currently not pu/pd; history of persistently elevated ALP, positive SNAP cPLI
– pancreas is large and easily seen on ultrasound with an irregular contour but no evidence of acute pancreatic disease
-I am seeing a cystic-like lesion in the region dorsal to the portal vein
Is this a hepatic LN or a cystic/nodular region of the pancreas

Thisd is a cystic Lymph
Thisd is a cystic Lymph node… happens in chronic disease and usually has trapped pus or lymph when you stick it. usually benign. Chronci pancreatitis hepatitis if the LN is in that region or portal hilus.
This would definitely fit
This would definitely fit with this patient as chronic pancreatitis is likley and possibly CAH from ultrasound findings
Thanks!
