LIver Hilus/CBD

Sonopath Forum

Bert is a 16 year old Feline DLH that came in for a recent bout of lethargy and vomiting. Bert had a history of suspected Cholangio-hepatitis in 2012 that resolved with aggressive treatment.

Recent blood work indicated an ALT of 400 with normal Alk Ptase, T Bili, GGT.

I did a scan of his liver yesterday and I was hoping to get an opinion about the region of the hilus. To me the CBD seems torturous and what I believe to inflammation surrounding this area. Bert had a very small meal earlier that morning so the gallbladder is not as large as it might be.

Questions:

1. Do you see pathology?

2. Can you point out the pertinent anatomy for me.

Thanks
