Zeutering? What are everyone’s thoughts?

Zeutering? What are everyone’s thoughts?

If you are unfamiliar with zeutering it is a type of chemical neutering wherein a solution of zinc-gluconate, L-Arginine, and water into each of the dog’s testicles which results in sterilization.

  • How safe is this process?
  • If it were your dog would you choose to zeuter or neuter?
  • Any doctors or technicians out there with experience post-op, during recovery, etc.

I have never seen the procedure, but it seems pretty straightforward.  Is there still a risk of testicular cancer because the testicles themselves are still present? Does it make it less likely to occur?
