Thickened colon wall or cecum?

8 yo M/N Cat (belongs to a vet friend), u/s for FLUTD, not blocked.

Normal bloodwork. No GI signs. Hx of 5 exploratories in the past for FB.

Thickened wall (4.5mm) with focal loss of layers in the ascending colon or cecum. Is that typhlitis? I hope it’s not neoplastic. No GI signs, no weight loss (BSC 6.5/9).

5mm cystic, rounded colic LN. Normal small intestine, IC junction.

We plan on rechecking in a few weeks.

Thank you for your input!

The loss of layering is concerning and suspicious for neoplasia but would not fully exclude granulomatous reaction. The lymph node is most likely reactive. Would recommend FNA sooner than later.
