Sound-Eklin technician course

Does anyone have any experience with the Sound-Eklin course in Texas for veterinary technicians. I have a CVT who is interested in doing the course but would really like to talk to someone who has already done it.

I have heard solid things but
I have heard solid things but its a year long last I checked and many vets don;t want to free up their techs for 4 trips during the year. Joyce runs a solid program there though and i am sure she can give you references.

Hello Liz
I have completed

Hello Liz
I have completed the DVM Imaging Program which runs along with the Tech program in Texas (we technically do the same class with slight modification). It is excellent and I highly recommend for anyone who wants to get serious about ultrasound however it is very time consuming both with time needed to be spent in Texas and homework scanning to do back home which is required for the program. You definitely need a good boss that would be on board for the time required for the program – it was a source of stress for many techs in the program.

I hope this helps!
