- 10 year old mn Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with recurrent UTI’s
- The dog is on budesonide for IBD diagnosed on histopathology
- Left adrenalectomy was performed in June due to pheochromocytoma
- RDVM wants to initatie palladia tx but needs to resolve UTI’s
- Ultrasound shows normal prostate, normal bladder with prominant but normal ureteral papillae, absent LAG, normal RAG, right renal cortical cysts measuring up to approximately 0.5cm in width, and suspended GB debris.

- Ultrasound shows normal prostate, normal bladder with prominant but normal ureteral papillae, absent LAG, normal RAG, right renal cortical cysts measuring up to approximately 0.5cm in width, and suspended GB debris.
- The renal pelvices show nonshadowing, increased echogenicity but no dilatation and no perirenal inflammation.
- No intra-abdominal metastatic disease is seen (no nodules and no lymphadenopathy)
- Any thoughts on why this dog has recurrent UTI’s? Could it be the budesonide?
