Hey All
No making fun of my Acuson Sequoia images printed out, please. 🙂
Here at the shelter, we have a 9 year old FS DSH who came in with typical abdominal overgrooming baldness. I often find physical pathology in these guys, so I always scan. In this girl, the kidneys were bright with very very mild pyelectasia. UA was unremarkable. Bladder unremarkable.
The only really obvious and weird thing was that I could follow the ureters (which were bright and ST density, not fluid filled) about 5-6 inches caudal to the kidney.

The cat was clearly uncomfortable, even mildly sedated with dexdom/torb, when I pressed on those areas.
Is this a normal variation? It was bilateral. I’m attaching my pictures of the printed images (our machine was donated and its ancient).
Thank you
