More video to shunt pathology

Dear EL,

Thank You the answer-Could You pllease look at this video also for searching the same shunt?

I could follow that red vessel into the v cava.

If You could please look at the following video- i can see a.coeliaca, a mesenterica cranialis leaving the aorta- then a vessel enters into the v cava-then the left renal artery is leaving the aorta.

I think this vessel entering to the cava could be the shunt vessel-which is making a loop.

I am concerned about the CT, because it also requires general anaestesia-but the dog is not getting better to conservative treatement.

I don’t want to send her to surgery without a 100% diagnosis-but I also concerned to sedate for CT ( dog has 35 degree hypothermia now)

Would You still recommend CT?

Thanks a lot!

PS-sorry for writing a new post-just could not attach new video

Im sorry Rita its not

Im sorry Rita its not definitive on this one either as i dont see flow into the cvc and i wouldnt cut this one without a CT. I would defer to CT to be safe. CT is quick propofol is often adequate if timed correctly.
