Linear probe

Hi, I have a logiq e and just got a 12L-RS probe.  I have been using the curvilinear only up to now, and using the URO5 setting on the presets.

Can I use this preset with the linear probe or is there a better one?  Do I need to adjust the time-gain controls or can they stay the same?  Thanks for any help.  jas

When I used a Logic E (next

When I used a Logic E (next gen was my last one as of 18 months ago) all those years the vascular stock preset was nice on the 12L. Then  the thyroid preset worked as well. Always have 2 go to presets for each porovbe as one will work well on one animal and the other on another. Then just make a new preset from that stock one and adjust depth to 5 cm (anything deeper you want the 8c) and maybe adjust the dynamic range and edge enhancement just a touch. Should put you where you want to be but dont stray much from the stock preset. This works for ortho as well just lower the frequency to 10 mHz for ortho (stifles) with the linear but same vascular setting worked well for me.
