Insurance for mobile sonographers

Insurance for mobile sonographers

For mobile sonographers, who do you use for insurance?  I am talking about for the machine/equipment itself, if it gets dropped, damaged during the course of use, stolen out of the vehicle, damaged in a vehicle accident, etc.

I am currently insured through Allstate but have serious doubts about whether they would truly cover it if any of those things did happen.  They list it under a marine policy despite my multiple explanations that it had nothing to do with sonar; they insisted that was the proper way to do it.

Thanks!

Suzanne

PS.  Since this is such an international group, I must specify that I am talking about options within the U.S.  Thanks.
