A 16-year-old FS DSH with a history of hyperthyroidism, hematuria, heart murmur, and chronic renal disease was presented for evaluation of inappetence. Hypertension was present (160). BUN was elevated (75) but decreased to 46 after IV fluids.

Renal dysplasia in a 2 year old MN Shetland Sheepdog

A 2-year-old neutered male Sheltie dog was presented for evaluation of renal disease. An inappropriate urine specific gravity was present on urinalysis, urine culture was negative, and elevated creatinine was evident on laboratory testing.
