Guess the Bladder Pathology… Neoplasia vs Non

So I read this case out this am on telemed and this is a ventral CUJ bladder thickening in a geriatric FS pug with hematuria that was partially responsive to ABs and then returning hematuria and straining. How many of you would think this is neoplasia such as TCC or even bladder LSA vs chronic inflammatory disease. I have annotated already for the report so I’m giving you a few hints on what to look for:)

The sonographer-sonopath member correctly used the higher resolution linear probe with this pathology as described in the SDEP protocol (https://sonopath.com/products/downloadable) after coming to one of our seminars (http://www.sonopath.com/events) and practicing in clinics and using our education telemed service… yeh I know plug plug but facts are facts and I have to give credit where credit is due… we just show the way but these guys did the work and continue to do so as described. As an instructor this is just golden to watch:).

I really enjoy watching the sonographers go from nothing to top scanning when adapting to the sonographic presentation. Its a great evolution. This vet sonographer and his 2 techs never touched a probe 5 months ago to give you an idea of the development and vertical curve and they are all scanning at this level now living by “if its sick it needs a probe” concept that we push.

These are images form the Esaote Gamma that someone was asking me about in the other thread and honestly I really like how this machine images for the price… its a stripped down alpha but with all the necessary features for full scanning. I will be featuring images form various machines that i read in telemed from here on in the future to balance the evaluations which is always a challenge in my psotiion as you can imagine… a great image is a great image no matter where it comes from.
