Hello
We recently performed an echo on a feline patient that had a forelimb problem. Unable to move it. We looked at the heart to ensure there was no marked heart disease present. We also attempted to doppler the brachial artery and are fairly certain there is no blockage.
Hello

The question I have is that it was difficult to obtain images of the heart. It seemed very difficult to get long-axis views and the heart seemed assymetrical. The chamber measurements were WNL but the heart still seemed to have a slightly abnormal appearence. I was hoping for a comment on whether this is a technique issue or if this is a slightly abnormal heart that is difficult to image. We performed this as a courtesy to the client but even if we were to submitt if for a referral I do not know if these images would be good enough.
Tried 2 different probes but was dissapointed with the overall images.
Thanks. Brent.
