duodenal pap mass?

Sonopath Forum

Hello,

This is a 5 years old F/S pitbull . She is vomiting, anorexic, icteric.

I can see an obstruction of the CBD. There is a stone/sand, distended CBD but also look like a mass at the site of duodenal papilla. Did not pick up collor. Do you agree? What else can I do to confirm, before surgery?

Thank you

Hmmm I dont know if I would

Hmmm I dont know if I would call that a mass btu would dance wiht an “Irregular duodenal thickening.” The d-pap and duodenum get very lumped up in stone movers over time so I would give the benefit of the doubt here and ride out the histopath post sx. You may be able to fna that thickening first though. Runt he liver wiht high resolution probe looking for potential mets and stick those too. This dog will likely need a cholceystoduodenostomy or similar.
