congenital vena cava anomaly?

congenital vena cava anomaly?

While scanning this 7 yr mc Boston Terrier because of elevated liver enzymes I took these images.  I enclosed sagital and cross sectional views of the three vessels running paralell in the caudal abdomen.  I can see the vena cava split and the doppler signal is laminar in both the outer vessels and pulsatile in the central vessel.

Not sure on this one Jeff from the image set… where does the vessel start?

The split happens just caudal

The split happens just caudal to the renal vessels.
