Splenocaval shunt in a 4 month old M Dachshund

This 4 month old Dachshund dog presented for abnormal mentation and trouble walking. Initial bloodwork found an ALT of 299, ALKP of 439, hypoproteinemia from hypoglobulinemia, mild anemia, and a creatinine too low to read. Bile acids were checked 3 days later and found a pre level at 145 umol/L and a post level of 391 umol/L.
